A Little About Me

My creative path began during one of the hardest chapters of my life. I started making jewelry by hand—just something to keep my heart busy—and it unexpectedly grew into a successful brand. I always say jewelry saved my life. Each piece pulled me out of grief and into a new sense of purpose, teaching me that even the impossible can become something beautiful.

After 15 years, I felt a shift. I wanted space to explore something new, inspired by the places I spend my time—Oregon, California, and Hawaii. I’ve always been drawn to handmade and vintage pieces, the ones with a history you can feel. Watercolor felt like a natural extension of that: imperfect, textured, and full of story.

I tried everything—acrylics, sketching, oil pastels—but watercolor is where my heart is at the moment. It’s a little wild, a little messy, and somehow honest. The rhythm of water and pigment, the way it mirrors nature—seashells, sand, driftwood, stones—guides my earthy tones and quiet palettes. It didn’t come easily, but the challenge became its own kind of healing.

When I’m not painting, I’m happiest in the small moments: sunsets, open-window drives, forest walks, ocean air, and quiet evenings at home with my husband and our two cats—talking, laughing, and listening to good music.
